After issue #28, a new artist joined the creative team, Wendie Renard.  She began work on Agnes: Wreckage,  Part 2. The question from the last issue was if the boys were willing to help Dr. Atlas. the villain who has been trying to take their powers away. Guilted by Jennifer they agree to, and here they are showing up at the old spaghetti factory on the edge of San Romero. where Atlas and Agnes Miller are holed up.
